Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are applicable for all bookings.

By completing an on-line reservation/booking and accepting these terms and conditions, or by placing your booking over the telephone, or by signing and posting/faxing a booking form, you accept these Terms and Conditions as a binding contract between Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats on behalf of yourself and any other members of your booking. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats cannot accept your booking without a completed online reservation, or your verbal confirmation to proceed given over the telephone. A written/emailed confirmation sent to you by Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats means Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats has accepted your booking.

It is vital that we have a valid email address. If you change this you should inform us immediately. We correspond by email. Once your booking has been made and we have received your deposit, all further correspondence is by email. We will also email you all of the information that you will require to get to the retreat location. We also require a mobile phone so we can contact you during your stay.

Upon booking and confirmation that your requested dates for your chosen retreat are available we charge a non-refundable 25% deposit of the retreat price. Once this deposit has been paid it secures your dates. We cannot guarantee any reservation until your deposit has been received. The remaining balance of the retreat price, is due 40 days before the retreat start date. Bookings made less than 40 days before the start of the retreat must be paid in full upon booking. You will be emailed a reminder for the balance and the date it is due to ensure payment is made in time. Payments are made by bank transfer into our bank account, by PayPal or via credit card (details will be sent to you to make payment). Failure to make your payment on time could result in you losing your booking.

Payment via Paypal, Debit or Credit Card
Payments made by MasterCard or Visa do not carry a surcharge when made via our reservations system on our website. Payments made by Paypal carry at 4% surcharge for EU payments and a 4.6% surcharge for all other payments. We do not store card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties. To avoid the surcharge you can place your payment by bank transfer. Please contact us for those details.

Guests rooms will be ready from the start of the retreat date(s). If you arrive before the designated dates, or depart outside the designated retreat dates Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats is not responsible for your accommodations or transfers. If your flight is delayed or cancelled, you are required to contact Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats. You may phone us at +34 666 261 273 or email at [email protected].

All guests must have vacated their rooms by 11am on the day of departure. During the hours of 11am to 5pm our team of cleaners fully check, clean and prepare the venue for the next retreat.

Private airport collection times are at the agreed time between Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats and yourself, the guest. A third party representative for Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats will collect you from the designated airport International Airport. Should you arrive outside of the agreed times, or outside of the retreat dates, you will need to arrange your own transfers to and from the retreat location. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats do not offer refunds for missed transfer.

If you cancel your retreat within 40 days before your arrival date then you will lose your reservation and deposit. If you cancel your booking less than 30 days prior to arrival then you will be liable for 100% of the retreat booking.

No exceptions to this policy can be made for any reason, therefore holiday insurance with a cancellation policy to cover any such rare occurrence is strongly recommended.

Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats reserves the right to amend the booking dates and venue. This may be due to several reasons, not limited to but including, war, adverse weather conditions, riots and or matters concerning participants safety, operational circumstances such as damage caused by fire, or the villa/s becoming unusable due to utility company work or lack of services, leaks, repair work or any other such reason. In these circumstances the booking may need to be adjusted accordingly. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats is not liable for any additional costs or losses that may be incurred by the client due to the change of booking. This includes, but is not limited to, any extra hotel reservations or car rentals, or the cost of non-refundable airline tickets. Situations may arise which may make it necessary for us to alter the normal booking schedule. We advise that your travel insurance covers holiday curtailment.

In the event before your arrival or during your stay your choice of room becomes unavailable or unusable for any reason we reserve the right to offer you an alternative room of the same level of quality. We reserve this right in the case of availability clashes, unexpected, unforeseen or uncontrollable situations. Should Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats successfully be able to offer you a similar room, a credit for any difference will be given if the room offered is a lower cost for the same period. If Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats is not able to offer accoomodations then a credit of the full monies paid will be given for a future retreat, or in the case that some time has been used already at the room before it becomes unavailable then a pro-rata credit will be given. This constitutes the maximum liability of Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats are not responsible for any other expense or costs incurred including rearranged flights, cancelled flights or car hire expenses.

In the event of choosing a shared double or triple room package and are not traveling with another person whom will share the room, Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats will attempt to pair you with another like-minded individual. In the event Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats cannot find another person to share your double/triple room you will be changed to the private solo traveler package and will be responsible for the difference in price package.

We strongly recommend holiday travel insurance for coverage with flights and unforeseen events that may occur during your holiday.

Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats recommends that you take out adequate travel insurance, including cover for medical treatment, accidents and repatriation, and holiday cancellation and curtailment.
It is your responsibility that you arrange, or ensure you have appropriate comprehensive travel insurance. We assume that such a policy is active  and in force before you depart. You should bring the policy with you in case of an emergency.

Prices quoted on our website are those in effect at the time of viewing and remain guaranteed once the 25% reservation deposit has been paid. Once a price has been agreed and deposit paid Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats will not change this price under any circumstances, thus guarding against any future price increases. Retreat rates do cover tourist taxes, climate taxes and tips for service.

We are responsible for providing the services listed on our website, where it is within our control. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats cannot guarantee that all items listed on our website will be functional at all times, however all endeavours will be made to rectify any problems as soon as we possibly can. We reserve the right without prior notice to withdraw any part or all of the facilities available, and to make such changes as may be necessary. Furthermore, it is agreed by you that the owners/operators of the retreat/s of Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats are not the guardians of any customers safety and they, individually or collectively, cannot be held liable in any way for any occurrence, which might result in illness, injury, death or other damage, loss or theft to the customer, his property, or his family, heirs, or assigns. The liability of Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats is limited to a total of the booking price irrespective of the title/claim.

All Yoga and Pilates exercise classes are undertaken at your own risk. All guests will be asked to fill out and sign a pre medical questionnaire before attending the retreat/s to confirm you are sufficiently fit and healthy to take part in yoga and Pilates classes and other physical activities. If you have any health conditions you will need to inform Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats of these. We may ask you to provide a consent form from your doctor to confirm you can take part in physical activities. You are not permitted to enter our properties when wet from swimming, as the floors can be slippery. Damage or injury arising as a result shall not be the responsibility of Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats will be blameless for any illnesses or injuries incurred during your stay. Under no circumstances can glassware be taken into the pool area unless allowed by the hotel. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats will not be liable for any loss or damage to your personal property.

Items left at a property will be returned only upon request and at the guest's expense. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats is not liable for lost items. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats will only hold items for fourteen (14) days before they are discarded.

Weather conditions can be unpredictable, and can change quickly and significantly. Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats cannot be made liable for unpleasant or unsuitable weather conditions and no refunds are made for such conditions.

Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats cannot predict construction plans in the area and therefore cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience. In the event of building works taking place by local authorities, private developers or neighbours, it is important to note that we are not responsible for such work and we are unable to stop such work taking place and we are unable to control the level of noise. We cannot be held responsible for any building works that take place during your retreat. No refunds can be given in the event of nearby construction.

Means any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our normal control, which the consequences of could not have been avoided even when exercising all due care. Such circumstances or events include, but are not limited to, war, or threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial disputes or strikes, unavoidable technical problems with the venue, transport, or closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural disasters, health empidemics or pandemics, industrial disasters, fire, theft, flooding and adverse weather conditions. In the event of any of the above refunds or compensation payments cannot be made.

Verbal changes of contract are not valid unless agreed and confirmed in writing by Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats.

Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats reserve the right to correct any printing or typing errors, omissions or calculation mistakes at any time. We also reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions that apply to your booking at any time and without prior notice.

Sky Pilates and Yoga is confident that you will not have any cause for concern during your retreat. However if you should have any problems during your stay this should first be brought to the attention of the retreat manager.

Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats and all persons involved in retreats (herein after referred to as “AGENTS”) act only in capacity as AGENTS for the participant in all matters connected with classes, travel, sight-seeing journeys and transportation, and as AGENTS hold themselves free of responsibility for any damage occasioned by any cause. AGENTS will not be responsible for any damages or expenses or inconveniences caused by late departures or change of schedule, strikes or to their conditions, nor will be responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any of the participant’s belongings. All prices quoted are correct at time of printing, include the cost of operation of the journeys, and are subject to currency changes. AGENTS shall not be responsible for personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, irregularity or property damage as a result of force majeure or for any other losses or damages incurred by any person or journey participants caused by any delay or change of itinerary or arising out of any act, including, but not limited to, any act of negligence, any person acting for or on behalf of AGENTS for transportation, accommodation or sight-seeing provider or any other person or entity rendering any of these services or accommodations being offered in connection with this journey. This agreement supersedes all previous oral or written communications, representations, or agreements between the parties. Participants assume the risk involved when participating in Pilates, yoga, foreign travel, and any and all activities and/or pursuits voluntarily undertaken while participating in the retreat. Participants agree that any and all disputes between Participants and Sky Pilates and Yoga Retreats shall be governed by Spanish law. Participants agree to mediate any and all disputes prior to the institution of any litigation. In the event of any litigation between the Parties to this agreement involving their respective rights or obligations, such litigation shall take place in Spain and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recovery of reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs of litigation. In regard to the stay during the yoga and/or Pilates retreat, AGENTS will provide safe, careful instruction and safe premises, but ask that each participant to take personal responsibility for their own self-care and (in the unlikely case) for any injuries incurred during retreat. Modifications are given to students with specific needs. If participants are unsure of their physical ability due to previous injuries, they should seek the advise of a healthcare practitioner beforehand.
